First off, a HUGE thanks to everyone who witnessed our return to the stage at Goodbye Blue Monday and I Made An Art!  We had an amazing experience at both events — (watching the Bambi Killers at IMAA was alone worth the price of admission.

A couple big updates.  First off, on Friday, 4/22, we are recording a live performance for future podcasting.  The exact broadcast date and medium is still TBD, but we are very excited about the taping, and will keep you posted on details as soon as we know them.

Second, May 10th marks the VERY long-awaited release of our full-length album!  Please join us at a very special listening party.  Take a bus, train, plane, spaceship — whatever you have to do to get to Red Hook, Brooklyn on early evening, May 10th.  The party is at the I Made An Art space, 53 Richards Street, corner of Commerce.  Visit imadeanart.com for directions.  See further info here.

One week to the day after that marks the return of the happening known as I Made An Art.  Watch this space for more details!

Just a quick update to remind all our fans and friends of some important upcoming events.  First off, we return to the live stage with a late-night show at Brooklyn’s great venue Goodbye Blue Monday on April 2nd.

Then, a mere week later, the party known as I Made An Art returns to life.  That’s right — April 9th, everyone’s favorite art show/concert/happening comes back from its hiatus.  Visit the website (linked above) for directions and info.

The b.g. crew has also been hard at work in our home-away-from-home, 3 Egg Studios.   We have been working with lots of great bands, including the fantastic bluegrass act Driftwood.  Keep an ear out for their upcoming album – we’ve heard early mixes and it sounds amazing!

More news to come out of the studio, including a music podcast now in the works.  Also, news of the finally-finished bone gunn full length is coming soon — it will be unleashed upon the world sometime this spring.

First off, our series of I Made An Art events is returning in the spring!  After taking the winter off (it gets cold in Red Hook!), we are going to return on April 9th with a fantastic, graphic-art-themed event.  More details to come.  Also, no one who was there could forget the Bowmans’ performance at IMAA last year.  We loved them so much that we’re bringing them back this summer — they return for the June IMAA.

The other bit of news is about our long-awaited full-length album.  After years of work, many different cities, and about five different computers, it is finally almost done.  We will unveil it in late spring — May, to be exact.  Save the date, because the second week of May is going to see the release of the album of the year!
